Hygroscopic crystal materials deteriorate when they are not generally retained in adequately dry air (or simply a dry purge gasoline). This applies e.g. to KDP and BBO, and in a lesser extent to LBO. It could be handy to maintain such a crystal at a considerably elevated temperature, that makes it much easier to preserve it dry.In addition, it has
